The
Glory Days album contains a special tribute to John White, an exceptional
footballer who was part of the Glory Days and nights at White Hart Lane. He was
part of the Spurs team that was the first English team to complete the double
in 60/61. Their names are celebrated in the song as well.
John
died at an early age as a result of being struck by lightning whilst playing golf.
A devastating loss to the 'double' winning side of Tottenham Hotspur.
'The
White Butterfly' is a must play for all Spurs fans, John was also know
as 'The Ghost'.............. "Set'em alight you Lillywhites"
