Wim Hautekiet is a family man and a real European with homes and careers in the UK and Belgium, he works as a lawyer for an American bank, has a love of horses, is an active show jumper and is a composer of worth with roots in the film and TV industry. In 2006 Wim decided it was time to create his first album with all acoustic instruments and real people. Fellow musicians from his social circle as well as professionals (with the vast majority fitting in both categories) have joined him and brought together their special skills. The result is stunning. Us
Red Admiral Records originally launched its label in 1979 and
Commercial Publishing Company Cringe Music with the
Arthur Kay's Ska Wars single. Over the years the imprint has been found on many
releases from Kent Artistes. The label went through some dormancy some years ago
and some of its products/artists were transferred to other labels but Red Admiral
Is back, supporting artists locally and internationally.
The
company is actively searching for new up and coming artistes who are looking for
label deals and has an interest in established acts who are now out of contract
with any label they were with. In an effort to become pro active in the rapidly
growing AOR and MOR markets Red Admiral Records relaunched it's dormant imprint
as a home for new and established artistes in the adult contemporary market and
to position the company and label idents for "mass-market" artistes
across all styles of music.

combining the creation and distribution services of Red Admiral, Cringe Music
(Publishing) and Media suppliers and PR from Kent & E Sussex Gig Guide.
General
Manager of the company Chris Ashman feels that the company should not operate
as a fixed genre label, so as they expand, their digital releases and distribution
have welcomed interest from a wider spectrum of artists and reportoire. Chris
has spent some time as Music Industry Consultant for New Deal for Musicians. He
is MD of Digimix Records Ltd, works in the film, TV , radio, film, audio-visual,
advertising and media industries and advises other small independent record labels
on their commercial record releases.
Chris is also the co-founder of the
One Kent Organisation with producer John Milton who in the past has worked with
(Mike Stock, of Stock Waterman & Aitken), John is also the companies first
choice as photagraher for projects.
As the market for audio products has changed Red Admiral is developing the range and style of its output to meet the current demand, from internationally distributed digital and phsical product to create-on-demand for niche and collector projects. As a small independet cpmpany there will always be some projects that are too large, with the risk outweighing the benefits for the company, artists and clients but we see a future where no commercial project should be seen as too small.
